From September 29 to October 7, 2026, Professor Anatoliy Sachenko visited Corfu, Greece. The purpose of the visit was to participate in and present papers at the 16th International Conference “Dependable Systems, Services and Technologies” (DESSERT’2026), as well as to discuss ongoing preparations for the 14th International IEEE Conference IDAACS 2027, to be held in Athens, Greece, from September 22 to 25, 2027.
During the DESSERT’2026 conference, Professor Sachenko presented three papers: “Multimodal Information Technology for Detecting Hidden Threats in Images and Video Objects of Web Resources,” “From Logs to Profiles: Data-Driven Calibration of Attacker Type Models for Game-Theoretic Honeypot Placement,” and “Detecting Malicious Droppers Using Graph Attention over Dynamic API Call Graphs.” He also served as the moderator for session S1.4, “Intelligent Threat Detection, Malware Analysis, and Security Analytics.”
In working meetings with Prof. Nikos Bardis, co-chair of the 14th International IEEE Conference IDAACS 2027, the parties discussed preparations for the event—specifically the organization of new special session tracks, potential keynote speakers, and the status of the application submission to the IEEE.
Additionally, a joint meeting was held with the Vice-Rector of the Ionian University and Prof. Nikos Bardis to discuss the possibility of hosting the 15th International IEEE Conference IDAACS in 2029 in Corfu, Greece.
