The event was attended by 70 scientists, teachers, graduate students and representatives of the IT industry. Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Oleksandr Palagin addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. The workshop was attended by well-known Ukrainian professors and scientists, including Prof. Anatoliy Melnyk, Prof. Anatoliy Sachenko, Prof. Yaroslav Nikolaychuk, Prof. Bohdan Rusyn, Prof. Roman Kvetny, Prof. Svitlana Antoshchuk, Prof. Orest Kochan, Prof. Oleg Savenko, Prof. Vasyl Yatskiv, Prof. Mykhailo Kasyanchuk and Prof. Roman Peleshchak. The participants represented the IT STEP University, the West Ukrainian National University, the G. V. Karpenko Institute of Physics and Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Vinnytsia National Technical University, the Odesa Polytechnic National University, the Lviv Polytechnic National University, Khmelnytskyi National University, and other educational and scientific institutions.

The agenda included reports from two scientific schools of WUNU. In the first of them, the head of the scientific school, Prof. Anatoliy Sachenko, briefly described the speaker – Lesya Dubchak, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Head of the Department of Computer Engineering of the West Ukrainian National University. Her presentation on the topic “Methods and means of creating computer systems for intelligent diagnostics of renewable energy facilities” was devoted to modern approaches to building intelligent systems for monitoring, analyzing and diagnosing the technical condition of renewable energy facilities.

In the second report, the head of the scientific school, Prof. Yaroslav Nikolaychuk, briefly described the speaker – Ihor Pitukh, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. of the Department of Specialized Computer Systems of the West Ukrainian National University. His presentation “Methods for Synthesis of Architectures of Interactive Distributed Computer Systems and Their Components” was devoted to approaches to the development and optimization of architectures of modern distributed computer systems. Both presentations aroused lively interest and discussion among the participants.

After professional discussion, both scientific reports were recommended for publication in the International Journal of Computing.

In conclusion, Prof. Anatoliy Sachenko briefly introduced the participants to the upcoming international scientific conferences – ACIT 2026, DISSERT 2026, IDAACS 2027, as well as competitions for international scientific projects.
