The joint scientific seminar of scientists from Ternopil, Lviv, Odessa, Irpin and Missouri (USA) was held basis on the department of the IOSU and the Scientific Research Institute of Intelligent Computer Systems on December 8, 2017.
Professor George Markovsky is a Head of the Department of Computer Science at Missouri Science and Technology University, USA, presented a presentation about possible joint projects between scientists from Ukraine and the United States, and also announced the deadlines for submitting applications. In particular, he presented the programs of Horizon 2020, Erasmus + and cost action and described the research directions on which project applications can be submitted.
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Information Systems and Networks Department of the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” Volodymyr Pasichnyk and Ph.D. in Social Communications, Associate Professor of the Information Systems and Networks Department of the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” Natalia Kunanets presented a report “Informational and technological support for inclusive education in Ukraine”.
Doctor of technical sciences, Professor, director of the Institute of Computer Systems Antoshchuk Svitlana Grygorievna, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Information Technologies Victor Krylov and Ph.D., Deputy Head of the Electronic Funds and Informatics’ Computer Technologies Department for educational work by Galina Shcherbakova of the Odessa National Polytechnic University told about their university and directions of scientific research.
Head of the department of ITSU, prof. Anatoliy Sachenko and Head of the Department of Cybersecurity, Ph.D., Assoc. Vasyl Yatskiv informed the audience about the scientific problem-oriented groups and scientific projects on which the department’s employees are working now.
Speaking also the Director of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Information Technologies and Management of the University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor Rippa Sergey Petrovych, who spoke about the directions of scientific research of his university.
The participants of the seminar agreed to work closely together for the submission of joint scientific and educational projects.
