Within the framework of international projects VIMacS and WORK4CE, teachers of the Department for Information-Computing Systems and Control and employees of the Research Institute of Intelligent Computer Systems of the West Ukrainian National University took part in the Training week for Teachers.

In November 15-19’2021 at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund (Germany), educators worked in teams (Red Pandas – Anatoliy Sachenko; Llamas – Pavlo Bykovyy, Khrystyna Lipianina-Honcharenko; Flamingos – Mykhailo Dombrovskyi; Cheetahs – Grygorii Hladiy). They fulfilled the project entitled “Design of module within OpenCoPs”. The main goals are to define a flexible methodology for the development of modules among partners, project management strategies, forming of Agile-events in the environment of Jira Software, the practice of working with documents in the Confluence environment.

In addition, Dortmund International Winter School 2021 was held. The training covered the topics of artificial intelligence and data analysis, business intelligence and decision making, cloud data processing systems. Denis Khlopetsky, a student of Computer Science (group KN-42) at the West Ukrainian University of Ternopil, attended the school as well as lecturers Anatoliy Sachenko and Pavlo Bykovy, who told young people about working with open data, collecting and processing it. During the classes, a website development project was created, which displays information about the participants of the Formula 1 race, namely their statistics and the chance of winning the next race.

Anatoliy Sachenko and Pavlo Bykovy also met Carsten Wolff, Fachhochschule Dortmund discussing the organization of the 12th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems: Technology and Applications, scheduled for September 6-9, 2023, in Dortmund.
