A team of students together with lecturers and faculties of the Department of ICSC and ICS Research Institute headed by Professor Anatoliy Sachenko continue to deepen and develop cooperation in the field of advanced digital technology and computer science with Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, which from September 10 to September 15 in Odessa hosted the school Odessa Summer School 2021 on “Augmented reality: IT and Culture” initiated by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Jürgen Sieck under the auspices of the German Academic Exchange Agency (DAAD). In the work of the school, in addition to prof. Anatoliy Sachenko Dr. Mykhailo Dombrovskyi took part also. The work of the school was preceded by a long online course on the study of Augmented Reality technologies. In the city of Odessa, on the basis of the Museum of Contemporary Art, representatives of the universities of Berlin, Augsburg, Ternopil and Odessa gave lectures and practiced during master classes. As a result of the work performed, a competition of internationally developed groups of students from Germany and Ukraine developed and presented 5 projects. The winning projects “Movie DO”, “Hidden Places” were announced, in which KNM-11 student Semen Kowalski and KNUAPm-11 Aziz Sepa took part. In summing there was a speech on the interaction of Culture and digital technologies by expert in intercultural communication, German political scientist, journalist, and the former president (2014-2018) of the German Commission for UNESCO Verena Metze-Mangold.
