On October 26-28, a delegation from West Ukrainian National University (Vice-Rector Oksana Desyatnyuk, Advisor to the Rector Anatoliy Sachenko, associate professor of the Department of Information and Computing Systems and Management Hryhorii Hladii) visited the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The meeting took place within the framework of the ERASMUS+ international project “WORK4CE: Cross-domain competencies for health and safe work in the 21st century”. Participants from Germany, Ukraine, Spain, Belgium, and Azerbaijan summed up the interim results and discussed the problems of implementing the project in modern realities. The project is aimed at the need for competencies, standards, educational materials and didactic formats, important in the new Work4.0 environment in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. The international team also conducted pilot training for students and teachers of universities in Baku.
The team of West Ukrainian National University discussed the possibilities of international cooperation with Azerbaijani colleagues, as a result of which agreements were concluded with the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, the Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University and the Academy of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In addition, negotiations were held with the leadership of the Azerbaijan Association of Project Management and representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan, thanks to which we secured support for the future of our educational and scientific initiatives.
