Kharkiv IT Cluster reported earlier about the support for the Military Administration of Kharkiv District by the IT Community. And now we have got wonderful news that the whole cycle of the computer equipment transfer has been completed!
After the racket attack on the building of the Kharkiv District Military Administration, all computer equipment was destroyed. To stabilize the work of the employees, it was necessary to replace it as soon as possible.
An active search for the computer equipment to satisfy the needs of the Military Administration of Kharkiv District was promptly launched. At that time the Department of Digital Transformation at the Military Administration of Ternopil District was one of the first to respond to this challenging request. Sergiy Verbovyi, a Deputy Director of the Department and a Head of the Digitization Department, addressed his request to the Ternopil IT Community.
West Ukrainian National University (Ternopil) was also the one who responded to this request for assistance. In cooperation with many European universities Anatoliy Sachenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department for Information Computer Systems and Control at West Ukrainian National University, requested assistance from his international partners.
It’s not the first time when an excellent and fruitful cooperation of West Ukrainian National University with the European partners has grown into mutual assistance. That is why a Professor and Doctor of Engineering Evren Eren from the University of Technical Sciences in Bremen (Hochschule Bremen) responded immediately, later on joined a Professor and Doctor Carsten Wolff from the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Fachhochschule Dortmund). The partners gathered all necessary equipment in the shortest time possible so it could be delivered to the Military Administration of Kharkiv District.
Kharkiv IT Cluster together with the charity fund IT4Life took charge over the logistics and delivery of the equipment from Dortmund and Bremen to Kharkiv.
We are grateful to all who contributed to the help for Military Administration of Kharkiv District and the city of Kharkiv! Together we will win!
