On February 10-17, 2018, the winter school under the Erasmus + ALIoT project “Internet of Things: Emerging Curriculum for Industry and Human Applications” took place for the first three days on the basis of Yury Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, and the following on the basis of the “Nebokray” complex in Yaremche.

On February 10-17, 2018, the winter school under the Erasmus + ALIoT project “Internet of Things: Emerging Curriculum for Industry and Human Applications” took place for the first three days on the basis of Yury Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, and the following on the basis of the “Nebokray” complex in Yaremche.

Representatives of the Winter School were from:
– University of Newcastle (UK), in particular prof. Cris Phillips;
– University of Leeds (UK), in particular associate professor Ah-Lian Kor;
– M.E. Zhukovsky National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” (headed by Prof. Vyacheslav Kharchenko and Oleg Ilyashenko, who are the initiators of the project);
– Yury Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University (headed by associate professor Georgy Vorobets);
– Zaporizhzhya National Technical University (headed by Associate Professor Ravil Kudermetov);
– Ternopil National Economic University (headed by Prof. Anatoliy Sachenko);
– V. Dahl Eastern Ukrainian National University (headed by Prof. Inna Skarga-Bandurova);
– Odessa National Polytechnic University (headed by Prof. Dmytro Maevsky and Prof. Alexander Drozd);
– P. Mohyla Black Sea National University (headed by Prof. Yuriy Kondratenko);
– G. E. Puhov Institute of Modeling Problems in the Energy (headed by Dr. Alexander Chemerys).
Ternopil National University of Economics was represented by Professors Anatoliy Sachenko and Volodymyr Kochan, associate professors Vasyl Koval, Myroslav Komar, Gregory Hladiy and Pavlo Bykovyy, senior lecturer Zbyshek Dombrovsky, lecturers Oleksandr Osolinsky, Diana Zagorodnyna and Vitaliy Dorosh, students Anastasiya Novosad, Julia Skorobogata and Maksim Kovalchuk.
The participants of the winter school presented their work in the development of courses, modules, trainings, laboratory lessons from the course “Internet of Things”, in particular prof. Anatoliy Sachenko delivered the lectures: “Brief results of the TNEU contribution for the Erasmus + ALIOT project” and “Generation and Research of the Hash Function for Blockchain Technology”; prof. Volodymyr Kochan, Assoc. Prof. Pavlo Bykovyy, lecturers Oleksandr Osolinsky and Diana Zagorodnyna, student Maxim Kovalchuk made a joint report “Intelligent System for Monitoring the Transport Flow”; Associate Professor Gregory Hladiy, Senior Lecturer Zbyshek Dombrovsky, student Anastasia Novosad, delivered a presentation “Conceptual Model for the Smart Grid System in the IoT Environment”; Associate Professors Vasyl Koval, Myroslav Komar, lecturer Vitaliy Dorosh, Student Yulia Skorobogata with a lecture on “Deep Learning Neural Network for IoT”.
In addition to the main part of the winter school, the participants also, on February 10, revised the performance “Christmas Night” in the O. Kobilyanska Chernivtsi Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater in February 11, had a joint dinner at the restaurant “Panska guralnya”, in February 12, made an excursion to the main building of the Yury Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University – Residence of Metropolitan of Bukovina and Dalmatia.
On February 15, on the basis of the “Nebokray” complex, the TNEU team presented two reports: “Intelligent Cyber Defense System” prof. Anatoliy Sachenko and associate professor Myroslav Komar; LabVIEW for IoT prof. Anatoly Sachenko and Ph.D. Oleksandr Osolinskyi.
In the end, the awards were awarded to participants of certificates of participation in the winter school, as well as discussion of perspective directions of cooperation within the framework of the project between the universities of Ukraine.
