Three students (Taras Lozovych, Pavlo Philipov and Abdulrahman Bakare ) of Ternopil National Economic University were able to attend an international conference (Research Conference-2015), held June 26-27 this year at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (German: Fachhochschule Dortmund).

The conference addressed issues relating to project management and computer science. The participants, representing European universities, presented their projects, exchanged their achievements, and discussed issues. Except the representatives of TNEU, the conference also attended by students of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture.

Also, students had the opportunity to attend summer school, held immediately after the conference at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Summer School took place from 29th June to 3rd July the following areas:

  1. Sustainability and Quality in Project Management
  2. Usability Engineering
  3. Automotive Software Engineering

Summer school participants had to choose one of the directions. Thus were formed 3 groups. Members of each group perform specific tasks. The results of the work were presented at the close of the Summer School.

Organizers took care about leisure of students too. They organized trips to leading European companies. School participants got acquainted with the work of the group WILO SE that is a manufacturer of pumps and pumping systems for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning technology, water supply, sewage disposal and wastewater treatment. Students also visited one of the oldest breweries in city. Picnics were organized. There participants played games, shared their own experiences, and met new friends.

Each participant, who successfully completed summer school, got a certificate.

Overall, the international conference and summer school, as its sequel, were at a high organizational level.
